Well.. hello, i guess.

So, for anyone who cares (or can’t stop reading once started (I do know how you feel.. )): I just moved here from my own WordPress blog due to mainly lazyness and the fact that my former hoster refused to update his version of mySQL.. (I was wrong about that aswell.) I’m going to move all posts here, but just in case the old blog can be found here. Ah, apparently it’s not possible tomove my posts from my old WordPress install to this version. Or maybe it is possible and I’m too stupid to find the solution, in any case this isn’t going to happen in a soon time. Sorry. So apparently it is possible to transfer the posts (rather easy, actually) so there you are. I’ll add them to the appropriate tags and categories when I get round to it..

I do hope I get to post more regularly and said hope is supported by the fact that I have found a way to unify all my web 2.0 activities (whatever that means.. ). You can get beta invites from me (current one is ‘thispingisforyou’, btw) if you are so inclined. In oter news I’m going to dump twitter and go for identi.ca cause the FSF says so. (In fact, I just did. (Yeah, I didn’t post too much on twitter to begin with and I’m not completely dumping it, I’m a hypocritical ass, I know.. )

So hopefully seeing more of my selfcritical posts in the future I’ll leave it at that..

So even I was finally pulled into teh blogosphere!!1! great..

well, ok: wordpress is obviously a neat piece of code (standard compliant and free above all.. ) and I’m reasonably satisfied with the current theme – no, I certainly won’t design a custom template (anyone who’s seen my homepage will know why.. ).

Anyways.. from now onwards I hope to post some anecdotes from my life in here.. for all who don’t know:
atm I’m working for the Caritas in Vienna in a refugee home and enjoying it immensely. I’m going to study physics at the university of Vienna as of octobre, but I plan to continue my work for the Caritas.. any other details can be found on my homepage (atm it’s still german-only, but I hope to change this sometime in the near future.. )..
